Passenger rights

Public transport in Switzerland is generally very reliable and of a high quality. Nevertheless, unforeseen events and delays cannot always be avoided. From 1 January 2021, passengers will therefore receive compensation if they arrive at their destination 60 minutes or more late. This regulation applies to all public transport in Switzerland. Season ticket holders will also receive compensation - in the amount of the daily value of the travelcard. Compensation applications can be submitted online or at any attended point of sale.
