Single tickets and Multi-trip tickets
Single tickets
For single journeys
The single ticket is suitable for occasional travellers and for journeys outside your departure area. It is valid for the time printed on the ticket on all trains and buses within the zones purchased.
A short trip ticket is only valid in zone 210 for one transfer-free journey:
-
from 1-5 stops by bus (each stop along a line is counted)
-
on the route of the Appenzeller Bahnen St.Gallen railway station to Spisertor
-
on the route of the Mühleggbahn
For the outward and return trip via different routes (round trip), buy a single ticket for each leg of the journey. Please note the validity period of your single ticket.

Multi-trip tickets
Stamp cards for selected zones
If you travel frequently on a certain route, it is advantageous to buy a multi-trip ticket with 6 stamp fields each and benefit from an 8% discount compared to single tickets or day pass.
Multi-trip tickets must be validated before the trip and can also be stamped for fellow passengers with the same fare. After validation, journeys made on the multi-trip ticket are valid for the corresponding single ticket.
The multi-trip ticket is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. Please note the validity period after stamping.
