Network-connecting travelcard

The Z-Pass connects networks

The Z-Pass is a ticket that can be purchased for a selected combination of zones between the ZVV and one of the neighbouring associations.

The Z-Pass is

  • the ideal ticket for people travelling between OSTWIND and ZVV
  • to be purchased when at least one OSTWIND zone is combined with an adjacent ZVV zone

In addition to monthly and annual travel passes, single tickets are also available

Even when travelling within the ZVV area, Z-Pass single tickets, multi-trip tickets, day passes and multi-day passes can be used for all means of transport within the zones purchased; one ticket for everything. This makes cross-network travel easier and more convenient. The price depends on the number of zones selected. The two city zones Winterthur (120) and Zurich (110) each count as two zones because the public transport network is much denser here.

The annual and monthly travel passes Junior and Adult of the Z-Pass are available on the SwissPass. You will continue to receive the rest of the Z-Pass range on paper.

Note: Please note that the OSTWIND-ZVV corridor only includes parts of the OSTWIND network area. Z-Pass ALL ZONES tickets are therefore not valid in the entire OSTWIND area.

Sales points

Z-Pass tickets are available at all sales points and ticket machines in the OSTWIND zones with the prefix 8.
