OSTWIND Webshop

OSTWIND annual and monthly travelcards can be cancelled and (partially) refunded within a certain period of time or with reference to certain criteria. The exact refund conditions can be found in tariff 651.13 under article 10ff. If you bought your subscription in our webshop (shop.ostwind.ch), you can refund your OSTWIND travelcard by yourself:

 

  • In the shopping cart

If your new travelcard overlaps with an existing travelcard (the purchase of the existing travelcard was also made via the webshop), you can have the existing travelcard refunded at the same time as the purchase. The existing travelcard will be displayed in step 3 ("Summary and payment") in the "Refund" window. The refund amount is pro rata (the refund amount is calculated in relation to the past and still open days). We will refund the refund amount to your then-used payment method after you complete the purchase of your new travelcard.

 

  • About the login area

You can refund an existing subscription independently if you purchased it via our webshop:

  1. To do so, log in via the SwissPass login.
  2. Click on your initials at the top right next to the shopping cart and then on "Customer account".
  3. Then click on "My subscriptions".
  4. Select the travelcard you want to refund and click on "Cancellation".
  5. The amount will be credited to the payment method used.

If you have purchased your travelcard through another channel, please contact an attended point of sale.

 

Please note the following information:

  • With an OSTWIND annual travelcard, you pay 9 times the price of a monthly travelcard and can use it for 12 months. The last 3 months are free and therefore non-refundable.
  • OSTWIND monthly travelcards can only be refunded with 50% of the purchase price in the first 7 days of validity.
  • We strive to respond to requests as quickly as possible. However, the processing of requests can take up to a maximum of 10 working days in the meantime.
