Children

Children under 6 years of age travel free of charge on the OSTWIND fare network in accordance with national fare regulations.

For families: Junior Card

With the Junior Card, children from 6 to 16 years of age accompanied by their father and/or mother travel free of charge for one year. The parents must have valid tickets. The Junior Card is valid with all OSTWIND tickets and travelcards

For grandparents: Children's travelpass

With the Children's travelpass for 30 francs, a child aged 6 or over and up to the age of 16 can travel throughout Switzerland for a whole year in the company of a person with a valid travel document.

IV pensioners and AHV recipients do not receive a discount on the OSTWIND ticket range.

For short journeys in the OSTWIND, you can buy travelcards at a reduced price (column "Half-farecard / Children" for single tickets & multi-trip tickets and day passes & multi-day passes).

For longer journeys, it is advisable to purchase a national bike day pass. Please note that bike transport is not possible in all OSTWIND transport companies and that national bike tickets / bike day passes are not valid in all OSTWIND transport companies. The carriage of small dogs with an instep height of up to 30 cm and cats is free of charge if they are transported in bags, baskets, etc.. In all other cases, zone tickets for animals must be purchased at a reduced price (Reduced 1/2).

The guest card of Eastern Switzerland

Call buses in the OSTWIND fare network

Zone 921

The SALÜ shuttle is available for the entire zone 921. You can book this either in the Wil SALÜ app or via the website. A valid public transport ticket/subscription is required to use the service. There is also a SALÜ surcharge of CHF 3.00. Further information on this offer can be found here.

 

Zoe232 & 236 (Line 331)

The call bus on route 331 is available from Kriessern - Altstätten SG. You can book this by telephone on 071 757 50 55. A valid public transport ticket/subscription is required to use the service. Further information on this offer can be found here.

 

Zone 911 & 912 (Line 545)

The call bus on line 545 is available from Elm - Obererbs. You can request this by telephone on 055 642 17 17. A valid public transport ticket/subscription is required to use this service. Further information on this offer can be found here.

 

Zone 810 (Line 8)

The night taxi on line 8 is available from Schaffhausen - Im Freien station. You can book this by telephone on 052 643 33 33 (at least 45 minutes before departure). A valid public transport ticket/subscription is required to use the service. You can find the current timetable here.

 

Zone 976 (Line 766)

On line 766, reservations are only required for the Mühlrüti-Hulftegg route. From Hulftegg to Mühlrüti, reservations can be made online or by telephone on 0848 818 818 (at least 45 minutes before departure). From Mühlrüti to Hulftegg, reservations can be made with the Postbus driver. A valid public transport ticket/subscription is required for use. Further information on this offer can be found here.

 

PubliCar Appenzell

The flexible call bus "PubliCar Appenzell" is the public transport service in the canton of Appenzell I.Rh. with door-to-door service. You can book it via the PubliCar app or by telephone on 0848 55 30 60. A valid public transport ticket/subscription is required to use the service. There is also a PubliCar surcharge of CHF 5.00. PubliCar Oberegg-Reute

The flexible call bus "PubliCar Oberegg-Reute" is the evening public transport service for the district of Oberegg and the municipality of Reute. You can book it by telephone on 079 608 75 00. Mettmenbus

The Mettmenbus runs outside the regular public transport network. You can book it online. A public transport ticket/subscription is not valid.

 

mybuxi

Mybuxi in Toggenburg operates outside the regular public transport network. To make a booking, you need to be a member of the mybuxi Ostschweiz association. A public transport ticket/subscription is not valid. Further information on this offer can be found here.

 

Rheintal Bus Buchserberg

The bus on line 403 is available from Räfis - Buchs - Buchserberg. The Rheintal Bus Buchserberg runs outside the regular public transport network. Randenbus Schaffhausen

The Randenbus Schaffhausen is available from Schaffhausen - Hemmental and from Schaffhausen - Siblingen. The Randenbus runs outside the regular public transport network. Private bus Urnerboden-Linthal

The Urnerboden-Linthal private bus on line 408 is available via the Klausen Pass. The private bus runs outside the regular public transport network. You can book it by telephone on 079 609 12 71. Tamina Valley gorge bus

The gorge bus on line 453 can be called up to the Alte Bad Pfäfers, as a general driving ban applies up to this point. You can find the current timetable here. A special fare applies for the use of the gorge bus. Therefore, is no public transport ticket/subscription valid. Further information on this offer can be found here.

A City Ticket includes a day pass for the local public transport company in the destination city.
